One of the most famous singers of today is akon having those hit songs such as don't matter, smack that, and the recent hit blame on me. Make him more popular to his already big star image. having very nice voice for a black accent nice for songs of those genre.

Ya , he is doing well with lots of great tracks out hopefully he will last for the next 10 years as too many stars come and go these days .

I cannot stand Akon. I can listen to most genres and most bands to an extent but Akon just irritates me beyond belief. His music sounds similar to a lot in his field.

You took the words RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH. That song he does with Snoop is just beyond horrible. It makes me sick seeing these little 11 year old girls singing along with every line of the "unrated" version of the song.  He is nothing original. I just don't understand what people see in this guy. Can anyone explain? By the way, I am not trying to offend any Akon fans, but I just had to jump in and give my opinion.

I hate that guy too, both his songs and attitudes. Did you see that video where he literally throws a boy off the stage? He's being suited for that, I really don't like him at all
